Modex & GIS Launch CCU Partnership Serving the Gulf of Mexico

(Lafayette, La.) — Modex, a leading global provider of DNV GL Cargo Carrying Unit (CCU), tanks and cabins for offshore oil and gas operations, announces a partnership with GIS, a global energy service provider. Under the terms of this agreement, GIS and Modex will merge their collective operations and rental assets in the Gulf of Mexico. Together, they will provide a wide range of shore rental equipment to the Texas, Louisiana and broader Gulf of Mexico region, including MINI containers, closed containers, open top containers, half-height baskets, baskets, bottle racks, tool boxes, cutting boxes, refrigerated transportation equipment, special units, waste skips, waste compactors, lifting frames, acid tanks, chemical tanks, jet fuel tanks, and other storage and specialized tanks.
